How do you get Regatta Hero up and running?
Passcodes for Regatta Hero
The smartphone apps are free and can be downloaded via the Apple and Google app stores. If Regatta Hero is already available in your region, you can participate in the corresponding regattas right away.
If you, as a race officer, want to set up Regatta Hero for a new region, you will need the passcodes for the browser interface and the apps. We are happy to provide these free of charge to race officers of non-profit sailing clubs. Simply follow the instructions given below.
We've noticed that some race officers aren't too keen on reading the manual and then unfortunately contact our support with very simple questions. That’s why we first need to ensure that the basic principles of Regatta Hero are understood before providing the passcodes and using the app.
To ensure this, there is an online test covering frequently asked questions about Regatta Hero. It consists of 6 randomly selected questions. You can take the test as often as you like, but only after passing it will you receive a 6-digit code. Please make sure to write this code down!
Important: Without this code, we will not generate any passcodes. We ask for your understanding.

By the way, there’s nothing wrong with acquiring knowledge about Regatta Hero through ChatGPT or other AI systems. It’s best to include the link to the online manual there as well.

With this code, you can request access to Regatta Hero via this link.
Feel free to also send an additional email with more information about your club and the planned use of Regatta Hero. The email address is kontakt@regattahero.com. After applying for access, you will receive the access codes via email a few days later. Please remember to regularly check your spam folder.
If the passcodes still haven’t arrived two weeks after the request, make sure to check your spam filter again. Only then should you contact us.
Note: If the system is not used – at least for testing – within 4 weeks, access may be deleted to free up resources for other users.
